The Buff is definitely a Boulder favorite, the restaurant has acquired a cult-like following and I can completely see why. The Buff recently moved locations and is now located in a larger building (right across the street) that accommodates their high volume of customers a lot better. This place is absolutely amazing, I have been here more times than I can count and have never ordered something I didn't like. Highlights include the skillets (my favorite is the Ole), the Baja Benny (eggs benedict with avocado and artichokes, it is absolutely to die for!), and the Huevos Rancheros. Overall, you can't go wrong. Make sure you pick up one of their morning cocktails or iced lattes, they have a huge selection to choose from. My favorite is the large mimosa with raspberry sauce, the presentation is beautiful and it tastes great too!
The Buff is a great place for large groups and brunch parties, so gather all your friends and get ready for a breakfast experience you won't forget. Expect at least a 45 min wait when visiting, but don't let that deter you. The Buff is worth the wait!

Hands down the best breakfast place in Boulder! One of my personal favorites, the Buff is a family run restaurant that serves amazing breakfast. It has a homey and welcoming atmosphere. The Buff does not take reservations however, it is definitely worth the wait! It has turned into a weekly tradition for me and my friends. The menu has a variety of different breakfast and brunch options. Everything you order is delicious, therefore it is hard to go wrong on any of the dishes. I would personally recommend the eggs florentine and the breakfast tacos! As for drinks, they say the best way to cure a hangover is to keep drinking! They have 99 cent mimosas, bloody mary's, and tequila sunrises. Otherwise, the iced lattes and other specialty drinks come in huge mason jars that are SO good. Plus I love all drinks in mason jars. The Buff is definitely the place to go for breakfast or brunch when in Boulder!
